Create an app

Create your Appo app from your site's URL.

After this step the app record exists and holds your URL, name, and icon. You can then preview it on device or start publication.

  1. Go to apps.goappo.io/new.
  2. Enter your site's URL and follow the wizard.
  3. The app is created; name and icon can be refined from the app settings.

First-time setup:

appo init

Then create the app:

appo new --url https://example.com --name "My App"

To create and publish in a single step, use appo ship instead — see the Publish guide.

Ask your assistant to create the app: it calls create_app with name and base_url, then set_icon to attach the icon.

The URL must be publicly reachable; Appo wraps and serves it inside the native shell.
