Test builds

Produce an installable test binary for a self-managed app.

Test builds are available on CLI and MCP for self-managed apps; they never affect the operated publish build.

Trigger a build (default platform: android):

appo build <id> [--platform ios|android]

Download the installable artifact when the build is ready:

appo download <id> [--build <n>] [--output <path>]

For iOS, register test devices first:

appo devices list
appo devices register

Ask your assistant to trigger a test build: it calls request_testflight_build, then reads the status with get_app_overview, which reports when a new read is worth making.

Test builds are self-serve and isolated: they never touch the operator-internal publish build that Appo runs for store submission.
